As jaded as I sometimes think I've gotten, it's refreshing to know that there are still acts like Slipknot and Hank III
who make music fun again. Slipknot because they're the heavy metal equivalent of Tom Waits and Hank III because
-- well because Hank is Hank.

Perhaps it's too convenient to compare Hank to his grandfather, but you can't help but think Hank Sr. is lookin' down
with a big smile as he sees another generation of William's take root (Hank's sister Holly is no slouch in the talent
dept. either) . In a time where most "country" acts can't name a Hank Sr song, can't write a song much less play an
instrument, Hank reminds us that there are still artist who are fighting the good fight.
